Over 100 swimmers have entered this year’s swim, on Sunday 31st August, so there is a Reserve List. The organisers, Tenby Sea Swimming Association, are delighted the take up has been so popular. Swimmers have been contacted to let them know if they have made the Main List and requested to submit their entry fee of £30. They have also been encouraged to download the individual sponsorship form to raise funding for their efforts; all monies raised will be paid to the charity of the year, Tenby’s RNLI.

TSSA organisers of this year’s Caldey Swim hand over a cheque to Tenby’s Lifeboat Crew. For an initial trial, the sum of £3,000 looks like ‘job well done’. And now a date for next year has been pencilled in: Sunday 20th July.
